Intermediate Dance Trapeze Monthly Meeting

Sundays, monthly (9/17, 10/15, 11/26 and 12/10) @ 1-2 p.m.

Come get tangled in the trapeze with us! We work above the bar, teaching you how to use the ropes for support to create new shapes and unusual transitions. This class is for experienced dance or single-point trapeze students. Students who register for this class should be able to invert cleanly in the ropes without jumping. Ages 16+ (Drop-ins are allowed, but we recommend that students sign up for all class times since material is cumulative.) Not sure if this class is for you? Maryland Renaissance Festival

If you’ve spent your summer pining for hot apple dumplings and smoked turkey legs, outdoor Shakespeare and harrowing sword swallowing, live glassblowing and handmade tapestries, your wait is finally over! The Maryland Renaissance Festival will fill the void of extravagant costumes, beer steins and jousting in your life, and then some!

Circus performers at this year’s festival include sword swallower Johnny Fox (in his 37th season!), Hoop Enchantress Erin Jeannier, comedy jugglers London Broil, extreme stunt performers The Danger Committee, Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy, mime Cybelle Pomeroy, aerial silks artist Elisabeth Herman, flea circus manager James Frank, Chicago-born juggler Jeffrey Daymont, the bendy (and balanced) duo of Acrobatrix, and street magician Todd A. Brown.
