Hand to Hand Contemporary Circus Festival

May 29th – June 3rd @ FringeArts Philadelphia

Take a road trip to Philadelphia for an incredible display of circus arts at Hand to Hand: A FringeArts Circus Festival. Find all the information and tickets at this link.

The lineup includes Montreal-based Barcode Circus Company performing Sweat & Ink, a surrealistic exploration of society’s relationship to memory and time. Their performers use cigar box juggling, Russian bar, hand to hand and aerial hoop to develop this theme and explain how our brains can remodel our recollections.

Also enjoy Circadium’s Innovations, a showcase of nine artists from the recently founded circus school in Philadelphia. They will perform 12 ensemble-based acts including hoop diving, juggling and contortion with live musical accompaniment.

At Test Flights, you’ll see some of the regions most ground-breaking circus artists workshop their new material that cross-pollinates with other art forms. Performers include Kyle Driggs and Andrea Murillo, members of Almanac Dance Circus Theatre, Sasha Harrington and Andrew Adams, Nicole Burgio and more.

Don’t miss this incredible event that represents the bright future of contemporary circus!
