Krampusnacht DC

December 1st @ 5 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

At the corner of naughty and nice, discover Krampusnacht DC, an annual event celebrating the European Krampuslauf tradition. In short, Krampus is the evil counterpart of Saint Nick who punishes misbehaving children, like ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ come to life! Fear not, however, because the reception and parade are kid-friendly and benefit Santa’s Cause DC, a non-profit providing Christmas gifts for youth in the DC foster system.

Circus activities include fire arts by Peculiarity Productions and juggling by Christian Kloc. Other entertainment includes the electrifying Batala Washington drummers, the Foggy Bottom Morris Men, DJs and more!
