And, this just in: Clowns Without Borders (CWB) is hosting a benefit show on Saturday, April 15th at 7:30 p.m. at Joe’s Movement Emporium, a short trek up Rhode Island Avenue into Maryland. Grab drinks and food at Bird Kitchen + Cocktails before the show. Now I’m reading their menu and craving pancakes. Time for breakfast!

Take Laughter With You is a family-friendly show benefiting Clowns Without Borders, a non-profit that uses laughter as a healing tool for areas in crisis across the globe. You’ll see acrobatics, juggling, aerial arts and (of course) clowning. You’ll hear artists’ stories from their performances in refugee camps and conflict zones worldwide. You’ll be glad you came.
